Homecoming 2005

At least 36 Phi Kappa Sigma alumni returned to Orono, Maine over Homecoming weekend on October 21-23, 2005.  These alumni spanned 61 years of graduation from 1944 through 2005 (see below for a listing of attendees).  Skullumni and the undergraduate chapter are very pleased with the turnout and we offer our thanks to those alumni who attended - we are fortunate to have so many caring alumni.  In addition to the annual meeting, group seats at the football game, and socializing at the Bear Brew Pub, many alumni also enjoyed two events new to Homecoming 2005: the tailgating party before the football game and the alumni dinner banquet after the game.  At this banquet, Skullumni presented Brothers Russell '44 and William '50 Bodwell with the Alumni of the Year award for their dedication to the university and fraternity and for their successful business careers.    

We would also like to offer a special thanks to Brother Zack Longley '67 and the alumni from his era who, at a recent reunion, chipped in to donate $500 to Skullumni.  Brother Longley, who has always been a dedicated alumnus and supportive of Skullumni, presented the check at the Annual Meeting.

In all, undergraduates and alumni from all eras seemed to have a great time over the weekend.
